A Big WTF Night in the good old USA
No one expected that our country had so many racists in it. Either that or the promise of change was just too blinding for them. If you were paying attention, most of the promises Trump gave, he also walked back on numerous times. The question now should be; what the hell is he going to do now.
The man has no plans, no road map, no idea what a president does in office.
Now it's up to the GOP, who took the congress and senate, to rein in this crazy, pussy grabbing, idiot. (Sorry, I calls them likes I sees them.) They had so much practise blocking Obama on 5 jobs bills and every other thing he proposed, blocking Trump should be a piece of cake.
The GOP really needs to step up and make the economy continue Obama's upswing or in four years, their goose is cooked. If not, the Republican party may fade into the history books never to be seen again....

What you gave up with your Trump vote?
- Women's reproductive rights. Sorry, not your Vagina anymore.
- Gay marriage. No longer land of the free- land of the cranky old bigots
- Trickle Down economics -aka Tax breaks for the rich, fuck the middle class -AGAIN!
- He bankrupted 6 companies, he'll bankrupt the USA probably with Russian loans. Can you say, President Putin? (same difference)
- Laws protecting animals; Killing animals for sport? Eric Trump's fav sport.

GOP: Grand Old "Puppets"?
The Republican party seems to have disappeared. Their conservative values are being ridiculed every time their chosen candidate, Donald Trump, opens his mouth. Its almost like the GOP is endorsing an uninformed fourth grade bully for the highest office in the land.
Republicans everywhere have to ask themselves, "Do we want a President of Negativity?" A man who spews hatred and stoops to name calling when when he doesn't have the verbal skills to express himself any other way?
Some say the media is behind the popularity of Trump, but really, isn't it like watching a car wreck? Everyone watches, cringes, and maybe says a prayer? When someone representing the adults in the room shows a lack of maturity and basic knowledge of world events, it kind of is news. GOP, the world is laughing at you. Your standing has dropped from powerful party, to a bunch of puppets manipulated by a spoiled little man-baby.
And you better watch out. Dare to speak the truth and you'll be dubbed with a nickname of ridicule, because that's what fourth grade bullies do. They call people names, spew lies and work hard to intimidate. Dare to stand up and he'll slap you down again. The GOP no longer looks like strong leaders, instead they're being trampled upon by the bully in the room.

Democrat in Republican Clothing?
Hey! Is there a fox in the hen house?
After listening to the flip flops from Mr. Trump, I have to wonder if his heart is with the Democratic party and his plan is to bust the GOP.
Time magazine reported this back in March. From Pro-choice to Pro-life, Ban assault weapons to guns for everyone, and pro-torture to oh wait, I'll obey the laws. And on and on....
So what if this is all a plan to take control of the GOP? He incites the base of the Republican party with fear and hate and then backtracks and slides into liberal mode.
Genius.
Although his history shows more of a leaning toward the Democratic party (Check out Open Secrets.com) there have been a few Republicans he deemed worth of a donation. We have to ask, does history show us whose values Mr. Trump really supports? Hmmm, interesting.
What happens next for the GOP? When the tea party took over the GOP a few years ago, the extremists seemed to take control. Never before has the Republican party appear to be motivated by hate and fear. Old time Republicans have been struggling not to fall under this veil of tea-stains, and have often spoken out against members of their own party. Google Republican in fighting and pages upon pages show up.
What would happen if Mr. Trump suddenly decided he was tired of the political game and suddenly dropped out? Who would he throw his support behind? Is there a clue in his donation history?

Where to Find Money for NJ Pensions

- Keep Christie in New Jersey. Evidently our tax dollars are being wasted to guard him so he can campaign all over the country. Keep him home and put that money into Pensions.
- Make him reimburse the state for that extra election. You know, the one he called so he wouldn't be up for election at the same time as Booker? That's $24 million.
- Make him pay for his own lawyer. NJ Taxpayers paid for Christie to have his own lawyer investigate what the feds were already investigating. (SURPRISE! They said he's not guilty! Clueless, but not guilty.) $1 Million dollar taxpayer scam.
- Make Christie keep his promise for transparency in NJ government. He's spending millons to keep his out of control spending under wraps.
- If he hired people to run his social media/facebook/twitter accounts; are they in the pension system? If so, why?
Off topic?
What the heck did he and Mary Pat do with all that Sandy money? Except of course that huge chuck of bucks sent to those companies that donated to his Republican Governors fund. Why are there still so many struggling to recover? If they didn't get that money, who did?

Playing Politics with the Media
Its been reported that the Christie administration is doing everything it can to set the Open Public Records Act back into the dark ages. It doesn't matter what the law says...if Christie doesn't want you to see it, the laws will be damned.
The ACLU (you know, those guys who do their best to protect your civil rights?) gave Chris Christie "D" on protecting the civil liberties of New Jersey residents. Check out his report card here.
His office has been fraught with scandals from day one. Sandy Fund Scandal, Bridgegate, OPRA problems....
His tool box didn't work; by cutting all state aid he left every community in NJ scrambling to make up the loss of revenue. What did they have to do? Raise Taxes. Gov Christie left them no choice.
Then he attacked teachers, pensioners and the media who reported on his actions. Because, you know, its everyone else's fault.
He's turning into the most expensive Governors New Jersey ever had to the tune of over 8 million dollars in lawyer bills of taxpayer money.
Now Mr. Tax & Spend Christie wants to be Prez? Well, if he's elected all I can say is Welcome to the dictatorship of Christieville. Taxes are up in every town in NJ since he took office, he's attacked pensions and paydays. New Jersey is quickly becoming a state only the rich can afford.

Goodbye Christie
Trenton has stalled
in its service to New Jersey’s middle class. With Chris Christie catering to
his million dollar cronies and with Joe Kyrillos playing his yes-man, any help
for Sandy victims, small business and the average New Jerseyan is nowhere in
sight.
My tax bill is climbing, the Gov is raiding $152 million meant for clean energy rebates, wasting $24 million in taxpayer $$$ on needless elections, takes Gay Marriage to court over and over again—what’s that hefty $Price$ tag?— and blowing Sandy funds ($600,000 to Calif for what?).

We need
to shake up Trenton and bring in new blood and new ideas.
My plan?
Vote for anyone but
the incumbents.
Whoever they are, vote them out.
Whoever they are, vote them out.

The Chris Christie Report Card ---Great Big F for Failure
Check out the scoop on NJ.com;
http://blog.nj.com/njv_tom_moran/2013/09/post_13.html
Yes America, the God of the GOP is screwing up New Jersey in ways that will hurt us for generations to come and he's looking to be your next President.
Please get the facts. New Jersey can't afford any more Christie politics.
America can't afford it.
Property taxes? Failed! They have risen steadily.
Education? Going down hill.
Sandy relief? Dreadfully mismanaged. Thousands still homeless. $600,000. sent to a company in California to come to NJ and tell people with no money how to manage their money.
Election fear caused Christie to waste $24 million on an unnecessary Senate election. Something he once said he would NEVER do. Was it his fear of being on the ticket with Booker? Of course. Your tax dollars mean nothing to him. He's the most disgraceful WASTE & SPEND GOVERNOR in NJ history.
Sadly, the Seaside Boardwalk recently lost four blocks worth of businesses in a terrible fire. It was rebuilt this year with funds from Sandy Relief. Now Christie is promising another $15 million of that same Sandy Relief fund to help rebuild it. Did he miss the fact that thousands of New Jersey residents are STILL HOMELESS due to Sandy and his little cash cow, the Sandy Relief fund has done nothing to help them?
Chris Christie, a nightmare for New Jersey. Vote him out!

Chris Christie a Cowboy's fan?
I heard our Gov turns his back on the Giants to root for the Dallas Cowboys. Bah!
He's traveling around the country now, kissing up to his base in hopes of being the next Prez. But he's still running for Gov of NJ. Playing all the options.
So does this mean if we elect him to the NJ Gov office (barf!) he'll abandon our state in 2015 to run for office of Prez in 2016??? Is he going to pull a SARAH PALIN on us?
Dear Future Presidential Voters,
Christie is abusing NJ, his spending is out of control and he continues to ignore job creation, Sandy relief and help for small business. If you make him prez, he'll just bring his destruction to the white house, kiss up to his corporate cronies and blow your tax dollars.
Consider yourself warned.
Sincerely,
Bruised and Battered New Jersey

Why I'm NOT Voting for Governor Christie
Reason # 1;
I'm not voting for Governor Christie because numbers don't lie. He can bluster and blather all he wants but the unemployment numbers are there in black and white.
These number have risen steadily since he took office. Embarrassingly enough, this puts New Jersey at 7th worst in the entire nation. Yes, New Jersey, the state that made their mark in the industrial revolution and prospered ever since...is headed for last place. Who knows, if we give him 4 more years, we just might make it. We've been watching this decent into middle class poverty since he got the job, why would anything change? And if he gets "Right to Work" laws in place in New Jersey, it will only get worse. Every state that implemented "Right to Work" has seen a steady DECLINE in worker wages. With unemployment already at an all time high, "Right to Work" laws will send us skidding into the gutter.
In fact, his get tough, cut all state aid policies have increased unemployment. Tax cuts are still in place for the rich and his buddies are lining their pockets, but police, firefighters, and teachers are still on the unemployment line. Christie forgets he's dealing with more than numbers on a ledger. All budget cuts affect real working class people. People Christie doesn't really know anything about.
Most people think his tough talk is cool. He's a Jersey tough guy and will defend the state.
Ha!
He's defending big business and letting the middle class slide into poverty. Four more years? No friggin' way!
Stay tuned for reason # 2 tomorrow.....

Obamacare vs Romneycare
Evidently it was a great idea to put Romney health care in Massachusetts, but its not okay to give it to the rest of America. When a commercial came out about a Kansas steel worker who lost his job due to Romney's Bain-economics the Romney camp had to defend its closing of the Steel plant, the life's blood of the community. The man in the commercial lost his job, his health insurance and when his wife got sick, he lost his wife. The man stated Romney is out of touch with his actions. Hmmm, that brings up the question; did Romney know what would happen to the hundreds of workers he flushed out of the work force. Did he offer them other work options? Could he have? Did he even try?
Okay, so the best part? His spokesperson, Andrea Saul, tells fox news that if that that man and his wife lived in Massachusetts they would have been covered under Romney's health care system?
Wait! What does that mean? That the healthcare that system in Mass is okay, but Romney doesn't want to share it with the rest of the country. Do they want everyone to move to Mass when they get sick?
Sheesh!
Do these people even think before they speak? Has Andrea Saul been missing the hundreds of statements by Romney saying he would repeal Obamacare if elected?
Sorry, but the Romney camp doesn't seem to know they're doing. They spew these statements without a thought to what Romney stands for (if we could figure out what it is he stands for-it seems to change constantly) and I don't think they talk to each other. Camera on? Time to ramble senselessly....
I'd hate to see what he'd do if put in charge of the country. He can't even seem to run a campaign.

Savvy or Political Suicide in Monmouth County
Monmouth County Democrats will be electing a new chairman this June. Vic Scudiery will be retiring after many years of awesome service to the Democrats of this county. He was a much loved and much respected chairman who did good things for this county.
Now two men are looking to replace him, Vin Gopal and Frank LaRocca. Both good candidates but that's not why I'm blogging today. (I'm sure we'll get to that closer to election time.)
Lavan and Shea, running for Freeholder and Steinhorn running for County Clerk have come out and publicly endorsed Mr. LaRocca. Now on a political standpoint I fear this will backfire. Will people believe these guys are now in LaRocca's pocket or that LaRocca is trying to buy votes for the chairman's race by throwing money at the candidates?
And what happens if the other guy wins?
If Lavan, Shea or Steinhorn ever want to run for office again would the powers that be remember this ploy and maybe choose not to run them for office?
Personally, if I were a candidate in Monmouth County right now I'd remain neutral and simply offer my best wishes to both chairman candidates.
So? Was coming out to endorse someone for Monmouth County Chairman a savvy move or political suicide for these three guys? Did they put money before strategy?
I can only wonder why....

Obama

From the beginning Obama reminded me of JFK. His quiet strength, intelligence and forward thinking radiates hope. Something our country needs right now. With sinking economy, soring jobless rates and general feeling of malcontent we need a man with new ideas. And Obama is it. I feel good about this election. For whatever reason Americans (Democrats AND Republicans) voted for Obama the message is clear; America needs change. We need a president who worked his way through school, (Harvard!) spent time with the little guy, and understands what the real America really needs.
Regan started trickle down economics and it worked--for awhile. Obama's plane seems more like trickle up economics. Give money to the little guy, he in turns spends money, enriches our economy and putting more into the hands of the wealthy.
This makes more sense. If the little guy has nothing to spend big business won't be so big anymore. He needs the little guy to spend so he can reap the profits.
Obama is inheriting a big mess and anyone who expects miracles and a quick turn around--well, it ain't gonna happen. His first priority is to clean up the mess left behind by our present prez.
But after that --> Watch out! Obama has the brains and ideas to turn this country around.
America, you made a wise choice.

Outting a Pregnant 17 year old~Shame on Sarah!

Aside from the fact that Sarah Palin outted her 17 year old daughter on national television for her own political gain (Bad mommy!), she is also supporting the marriage of a child. Oh yes, 17 year old's are children (they can't even vote yet!)
So here's a thought. The reason Palin outed her daughter is because some random blogger suggested that maybe baby Trig actually belonged to her daughter and not her. After all, her daughter missed like 5 months of school and when Sarah's water broke (leaked?) she waited two hours in Texas so she could give a speech, then traveled over 10 hours back to Alaska and then drove another hour to a hospital to deliver the baby. I know it was her fifth child but please! Isn't the health and safe delivery of a child a priority over giving a damn speech? Especially since it was a child with developmental issues? I guess Sarah didn't think so. Politics first, ya know.
So here's my theory (don't hate me~its just a thought)
What if her daughter really isn't pregnant? What if this is all a made up lie to show us Palin really is an outstanding member of the moral majority? Could Trig really belong to the daughter and this was just a pathetic attempt to cover it?
So if her daughter really does deliver a baby in December as scheduled...I'll apologize.
If not? We'll know Palin lied to us.
Still very un-cool to out your daughter on national TV.

McCain missed Willy!

John! You missed a good thing. This man, Willy Herenton, Mayor of Memphis, Tenn would have made a better VP pick. He has more experience, done some fab things for Memphis and has brought millions of dollars into his city.
And he has more experience than Sarah.
:)
Okay, maybe he hasn't been a govenor for a year and a half but his city has the same population as the whole of Alaska so its basically the same thing.
Willy for VP
